State unemployment agency struggling to maintain a complex ECM architecture

Challenge:

A state unemployment agency was struggling to maintain a complex ECM architecture comprised of P8 4.0 and unsupported versions of P8 3.5 and Image Services. This infrastructure stifled productivity and gave way to an unreliable, patchwork solution that the agency was hesitant to deploy to other business units.

Solution:

Fairfax consolidated the ECM systems into a single, upgraded P8 solution, migrating millions of documents to the new system. Fairfax replaced the agency’s aging capture solution with Datacap Taskmaster and implemented an automated scanning process that integrated with new forms and with the existing mainframe for wage and certification forms.

Outcome:

Introduced a simplified, supportable, ECM architecture that compliments the agency’s business applications and empowers effectiveness through unified content, centralized scanning operations, and streamlined security.
